I copy the code and place it in my sidebar.php file under the code for the paypal donate button, which means the counter will appear…. indeed, under the paypal donate button. I get slightly annoyed with the fact that this is yet another free service that don’t add comments html comments before and after their code to let the user find it back easily, so i add them by hand. A click on the counter conveniently links me to their site, so i log in using the username and password that they emailed to me. First thing I get is “modify account information”, with a convenient box to ban my own IP, so that my own visits will not be counted. I never do this, cause every page hit is money, including my own.
